Sad to hear the news today that Steve Jobs has resigned as CEO of Apple and instead been crowned Chairman of the Board. Tim Cook is now the CEO.
Edit: I should just say for all those that didn’t know, Steve Jobs left Tim Cook as interim CEO while he was away on medical leave.

On August 21, 2011, countless Libyans took to the streets in towns and cities across the country as rebels gained control of the capital Tripoli and the collapse of Muammar Gaddafi’s four-decade-long regime appeared imminent.
The rebels, who had begun their armed uprising six months earlier — capturing then losing then capturing again key cities like Benghazi in the east (above) — poured into Tripoli from the east, south, and west. Gaddafi, his location a mystery, broadcast increasingly frantic appeals to his fellow Libyans, exhorting them to battle the rebels, to defend his 42-year-old “revolution,” to fight to the death for his Libya. No, it seems, was listening.

Thank goodness, hopefully this means the end of the fighting.
It frustrates me when someone comes from a middle class home, is attending college(university), has a job that allows for expendable income, owns a vehicle, or basically does not live on the street eating shit you find out of a trash can like a racoon, remark that they have terrible luck. I would say your luck has been pretty great so far, sure you may not have won a free coffee rolling up the rim at timmy’s, but you are lucky enough to have a job that lets you buy a fucking coffee.
It looks like one of the lead developers from Microsoft, Brandon Watson, just posted on twitter that any WebOS developer could count on Microsoft to provide everything needed to develop for their platform, like a free phone or dev kits.
Very smart move from Microsoft and I might add a very nice gesture.
With their newest OS ‘Mango’ coming out early september and some new developers, I am predicting Windows will be a strong player in the mobile world soon enough.
